He has lived and worked in India, Singapore, the UK, Canada, and the United States, and has delivered impactful leadership engagements in over 30 countries across five continents.
Anand began his corporate journey with a decade-long tenure in INDIA and across the Globe at the TATA Group, one of India’s most respected and globally admired conglomerates. This formative period instilled in him the values of ethical leadership, strategic foresight, and long-term value creation—principles that continue to guide his approach to leadership today.
He went on to hold senior leadership roles in globally recognized organizations, most notably serving as Senior Executive Vice President – Business Transformation & Chief Learning Officer at Reliance Industries Ltd. In this role, he worked closely with the Chairman and collaborated extensively with leading global consulting firms such as McKinsey & Company, A.T. Kearney, Bain & Company, and EY, translating strategy into execution with measurable results that directly impacted the organization’s bottom line. Prior to this, Anand was Senior Vice President & Global Head – Talent Transformation at HCL Technologies, where he played a pivotal role in scaling leadership and culture across the enterprise.
Currently the Managing Director of Leadership Matters Inc., Anand advises Fortune 500 companies, unicorn startups, and Global Capability Centres (GCCs) on leadership development, business transformation, and cultural agility. He also serves as an Independent Director on several corporate boards and is a trusted coach to senior executives globally.
