Has been in industry for over 34 years. His rich experience and acquired expertise comes handy in dealing with government regulatory / policy framework, influencing key government policy decisions and supporting business development in India and abroad. He is associated with International Telecommunications Union- ITU for more than a decade and had played an influential role in contributing towards ITU’s activities through ITU-APT Foundation of India being its co-founder and Secretary General. He is also Secretary General, Broadband India Forum and an active member of various Task Group set up the Govt. and industry body such as FICCI, ASSOCHAM and Governing Council Member with Telecom and Services Export Promotion Council ( TEPC). He is advisor and board member to several leading companies and jury member for World Communications Award, London since 2009
